Dr. Sarah Atallah is a family medicine resident at the Altru Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Atallah has a special love for women’s and reproductive healthcare, but eagerly looks forward to treating patients of all ages and genders. Additionally, she takes a unique interest in working with underserved and underrepresented populations. Outside of work, Dr. Atallah loves to travel and spend most of her vacations exploring various national parks and other countries. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring the outdoors. She is also an artist, painter, and dog lover.
Philosophy of Medicine
"Becoming a doctor has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I have always known I want to help people and this, in combination with my love of science, has lead me toward the practice of medicine. As a physician, I strive to manage every patient with a holistic and all-encompassing approach to medicine. I believe it is of utmost importance to understand and manage the pathology of the disease instead of simply treating individual symptoms."
