Whether you’re here as a patient or a visitor, a hospital visit can be difficult. We want to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, and we’ll do everything we can to make your experience seamless. Little things can make a big difference, and we offer numerous amenities to make your visit more comfortable.
At most of our entrances, you’ll find a hospital greeter. Greeters can help you locate patient rooms, direct or escort you to any locations within the hospital, assist with parking, and help you find lodging and other local community resources.

Guest Meals
Visitors are welcome to dine in the Altru Eatery on the lower level of Altru Hospital. In addition, guests may order a meal to be delivered to the room of the patient they are visiting, allowing patients to eat with their loved ones. Guests may choose any entree, two sides, a beverage and a dessert for $8.25.
Parking/Courtesy Van
If you need assistance with parking or with transport from your car, our vehicle assistants are available to help. Assistants are located at the front door of Altru Hospital, Altru Clinic, and Altru Cancer Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
If you need assistance at any other time, ask any Altru employee. Wheelchairs are always available for your personal use while you are on our campus.

Lost & Found
Items found at Altru Health System are sent to lost & found. To locate a missing item, stop by the information desk in the main lobby of Altru Hospital or call 701.780.5529.
Found items are stored for one week and then donated or disposed of.

Wireless Access
- Our free wireless internet is available for all guests throughout the main hospital. To get connected, access the internet in the main lobby of Altru Hospital.
