Overview
Bone disease is any condition that affects bone health. These conditions can make bones weaker and more likely to break. They include the bone-thinning disease osteoporosis, which can happen with aging. Poor nutrition or too little calcium and vitamin D can weaken bones. Like soft tissues in the body, bones can get cancer or become infected.
