Dr. Thuy Nguyen Joins Altru Health System

Grand Forks, N.D. – Thuy Nguyen, MD, is joining the pediatrics team at Altru Health System. Dr. Nguyen states, “Smiling, happy children brighten up my day. However, helping my patients reach their full potential by promoting health and treating their illnesses is what motivates me to do what I do.”

Dr. Nguyen earned her medical degree from Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She completed her pediatrics residency at Mount Sinai Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

”I respect my patients, regardless of who they are, and I would like to be a good companion for my patients, not only during their illness but also through their life,” says Dr. Nguyen.

When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Nguyen likes traveling, camping and hiking. She enjoys reading books and cooking with her husband. She speaks fluent Vietnamese and English.
