Jackie Roberts, DNP, FNP Transitions Her Role to Internal Medicine with Altru Clinic

Grand Forks, N.D. – Jackie Roberts, DNP, FNP takes on a new role with Altru Health System as a family nurse practitioner in internal medicine. Formally, Jackie was a family nurse practitioner in the oncology department. She will now be working at Altru Clinic in Crookston, Erskine and Red Lake Falls in primary care.

Roberts’ special practices include adult primary care, health promotion, disease prevention, women’s health, breast cancer, telehealth and depression. Roberts also has a special interest in motivational interviewing techniques.

“I believe working as a team with my patient is very important,” Roberts mentions. “I take their preferences and beliefs regarding health and wellness into consideration for the best possible health outcomes.”

Jackie earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She received her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner education from the University of North Dakota. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends at the lake. She also likes to read, travel and volunteer at various community events.
