Chuanshen Wu, MD, PhD Joins Altru Health System

Chuanshen Wu, MD, Ph.D. is joining the psychiatry team at Altru Health System. He specializes in treating patients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, psychosis, sleep disturbance, and posttraumatic stress disorder. He is board-certified and a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

“I want to make sure I spend enough time listening to my adult patients before they step out of my office,” Wu mentions, “and make sure they receive the care they need to improve their mental health.”

Dr. Wu earned his medical degree from the Peking University Health Science Center in China. He went on to complete his residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Outside of work, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports with his kids, reading historical books, listening to music, cooking, hiking, and jogging.
