Dr. Christian Dequet Joins Altru as a Rheumatologist

Grand Forks, N.D. –Christian Dequet, DO, FACR has joined Altru Health System as a rheumatologist. He specializes in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, lupus, and other types of arthritis. Dr. Dequet is board certified in rheumatology.

"I have a very strong understanding of the musculoskeletal system being a former physical therapist while working in Europe," Christian states. "I enjoy meeting patients from all walks of life and being able to help in their daily life."

Dr. Dequet earned his diploma of osteopath from The British School of Osteopathy in London, United Kingdom. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Dequet completed his internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and his rheumatology fellowship from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. In his free time, Dr. Dequet enjoys supporting his two daughters to provide a good education for them. He also enjoys nature and outdoor activities such as hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, biking, and photography.
