Posted OnJuly 21, 2020
Altru’s Board of Directors, in partnership with Altru’s President, Dr. Steven Weiser, have announced their plan for filling the organization’s CEO position.
Effective today, Dave Molmen will join Dr. Weiser in the executive dyad and serve as interim CEO. Dave will serve in this position through June of 2021. He has declined to receive a salary for this role through the end of 2020. Beginning in January of 2021, the Board will begin formal recruitment for a permanent CEO.
“As we navigate an ever-changing industry and an immediate need for transformation, Dave’s experience as Altru’s CEO for 11 years and his connections in the community gives him the ability to step into this role immediately and effectively,” explains Dr. Weiser. “I am pleased to welcome Dave to our Executive Team and look forward to working together as we undergo a crucial re-design of our organization.”
Altru is committed to a physician-led, professionally managed structure that a President and CEO dyad provides. In these roles, Dr. Weiser and Dave will partner in the executive leadership and oversight of the organization.
“The proven model of a physician President and Chief Executive Officer dyad positions us for success,” shares Lonnie Laffen, Chair of Altru’s Board of Directors. “Dave and Dr. Weiser have complementary strengths that will serve them well as they partner to lead Altru over the next year.”
