W. Asher Wolf, MD Joins Altru Health System

Grand Forks, N.D. – W. Asher Wolf, MD has joined Altru as a specialist in gastroenterology. Dr. Wolf specializes in the removal of large polyps, treatment of Barrett’s esophagus, strictures of the digestive tract and bile duct diseases, and more.

“I take pride in connecting with patients to understand their health problems and create a course together for successful treatment,” Dr. Wolf says. “I love every part of my job including talking with my patients, performing evaluations, and communicating with other professionals to optimize care.”

Dr. Wolf earned his medical education from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where he also completed his residency. In his free time, Dr. Wolf enjoys spending time with his three children, hike, fish and training for his first triathlon.
