Altru Earns CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Awards for the Tenth Year in a Row

Altru has earned the 2022 CHIME (College of Healthcare Information Management Executives) Digital Health Certified Level 9, Performance Excellence Awards for both Altru’s Acute setting and Ambulatory setting.

Having easy, quick and reliable access to digital health information is a priority for Altru Health System because it leads to better patient outcomes. Having patients’ medical history so accessible aids providers in making diagnoses and executing appropriate healthcare plans. For patients, they want, expect and deserve easy access to healthcare and their personal healthcare information.

Of the eight different areas Altru was rated on for its use of digital health in Acute (hospital) care, they received a Level 10 in administrative supply chain, analytics & data management, patient engagement and clinical quality & safety. Receiving the overall rating of a Level 9 indicates Altru is a leader in healthcare technology and helps push the industry forward. It often leverages healthcare technology in innovative ways and encourages deep adoption across the entire organization.

For Ambulatory (out-patient) care, Altru received a Level 10 rating for the same four areas: administrative supply chain, analytics & data management, patient engagement and clinical quality & safety. These individualized reports from CHIME help organizations identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.

More than 38,000 organizations were represented in the 2022 Digital Health Most Wired program, which included four separate surveys: acute, ambulatory, long-term care and international acute.
