Altru to Expand Dialysis Services in Devils Lake, Relocate to Altru Clinic

Grand Forks, N.D. - Altru Health System announces plans to expand and relocate kidney dialysis services in Devils Lake, ND. Altru will renovate the lower level of Altru Clinic to accommodate up to 12 chairs and will add state-of-the-art equipment to support this important service in the community.

“We understand the great need for more access to dialysis services in the Lake Region and have been committed to finding the best solution for the community,” shared Dr. Josh Deere, Altru’s President. “We are thrilled to be able to house these services within our clinic, offering a newly renovated space, modern equipment and more chairs to serve our patients.”

Currently, outpatient dialysis is provided by Altru, located within CHI St. Alexius Hospital, and includes 5 chairs for patients. The renovation in Altru Clinic will begin in the next few months and is anticipated to be complete near the end of 2024 or early 2025.
