Altru Health System is located in North Dakota and Minnesota. For more information, please contact Liz Salasin, MS, CPRP, Provider Recruiter. We are seeking a board certified/board eligible Ophthalmologist physician to join our multi-specialty health system.

Position: Ophthalmologist at Altru Professional Center

Our ophthalmology and optometry team at Altru Professional Center is comprised of and known for:

  • 350+ Altru physicians and advanced practice providers
    • 1 ophthalmologist
    • 1 optometrist
  • Schedule: M-F 8-5
  • Call: Yes
    • Call schedule: 1:2
    • Call type: 24-hour call from home, roughly 4-8 calls/week with the occasional in hospital visit.
  • 500+ surgical case volume annually
  • Tailor your practice to what you like and prefer, such as cataracts, oculoplastics, medical retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics.
  • Well-established referral base from community optometrists.
  • Equipment available: Argos biometer, DMM, LFDT on the YAG Laser, and Stryker OR updated in 2020.
  • Voice dictation available: Yes, Dragon dictation

Compensation and Benefits:­­­­

  • Salary guarantee or wRVUs, whichever is greater
