Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) Classes

Altru is offering EMT training for any students interested in entering the field of emergency medical services. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be signed off to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) licensing exam, which is required by a majority of EMS employers.  

Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. in the Altru 1300 Columbia lower-level. Class is expected to wrap up around the last week of March.

The cost of the class is $1300.00, and all books and materials will be provided to students when they arrive at class.
