About Me

Alyssa Tate is a speech-language pathologist at Altru. She is inspired to educate her patients so they can make informed decisions about their medical care that impacts their everyday lives. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys growing cut flowers (especially dahlias), reading novels and spending time on creative hobbies like knitting, crocheting, and embroidery.

Philosophy of Medicine

"I believe the best care begins with trust and collaboration. My goal is to help patients feel comfortable and empowered by providing evidence-based care, open communication and the education needed to make informed decisions. I value approaching each patient as an individual and tailoring treatment to what matters most to them and their quality of life."
