Elise Dick, MD

Elise Dick, MD, is a family medicine provider at Altru. Dr. Dick strives to empower patients in rural communities with knowledge, tools and resources available to work together toward their health goals. Growing up on a farm in northern North Dakota, she understands some of the unique challenges that face these communities. Outside of work, Dr. Dick enjoys staying involved in her local church, community involvement, and spending time with family.

Philosophy of Medicine

"I am motivated by the fact that those who travel long distances to medical care deserve a Physician who is invested not only in their physical health but in the health of their community. Growing up with long drives to the nearest clinic, and longer drives to the nearest hospital, the need for rural Primary Care was ever-present in my youth. My medical training has brought me back to rural places, and I enjoy being a part of the solution to providing excellent patient-focused primary care in rural North Dakota."
