Megan Thorson, AuD, is an audiologist at Altru Health System specializing in electrophysiological testing, comprehensive hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings. In her free time, Dr. Thorson enjoys spending time with her husband and son and being an active member of the Grand Forks Sertoma Club.

Philosophy of Medicine

"The unknown of an office visit can be challenging for some patients, so my goal is to make a patient feel comfortable and to reduce their anxiety. I focus on building rapport and making sure each patient understands what to expect with the appointment. I explain the process prior to testing and then the results following the exam so the patient and I can work together to determine the best intervention. During the appointment, the patient and their family are the only people I care about."
