Overview
Fatty liver risk factors include excessive alcohol use, certain drugs, metabolism abnormalities, and excess weight.
Symptoms
It usually causes no symptoms. Fatigue, weight loss, and weakness sometimes occur.
Treatments
Treatment involves addressing the underlying cause, such as excess weight or alcohol use. If not treated, fatty liver may lead to liver failure.
