A group of eye conditions that can cause blindness.
Overview
Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that can cause blindness. The nerve connecting the eye to the brain is damaged, usually due to high eye pressure.
Symptoms
Each type of glaucoma has different symptoms. They include slow vision loss, eye pain with nausea and sudden visual issues, such as blurry vision and seeing halos around lights.
Treatments
Treatments include eye drops, medicines and surgery.
