A skin rash that appears around the mouth.

Overview

A skin rash that usually appears around the mouth. The exact cause is not known. But misuse of steroid creams may play a role.

Symptoms

The condition causes small, pus-filled bumps and mild peeling of the skin around the mouth. The rash may also spread to the skin near the nose, cheeks or eyes.

Treatments

Treatment may include self-care steps, medicated creams and medicine taken by mouth.
