Overview

A soft tissue sarcoma is a cancer that starts as a growth of cells in the soft tissues. Soft tissues include muscle, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons and joint linings. This cancer happens most often in the arms, legs and belly.

Symptoms

Symptoms include a lump and pain.

Treatments

Treatments may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy.
