Tinea cruris is a fungal infection that affects the skin of the groin and inner thighs, and buttocks. This condition is also called jock itch.
Symptoms
It causes an itchy, inflamed, often ring-shaped rash in these warm, moist areas.
Treatments
Treatment includes keeping the groin area clean and dry and applying topical antifungal medicine.
