Altru Announces Director of Primary Care

Grand Forks, N.D. – Altru Health System is proud to announce that Lisa Johnson has accepted the Director of Primary Care position. In this new role, she will oversee all primary care teams in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks as well as Altru Clinic in Drayton and Safe Kids.
“I am looking forward to working closely with our primary care teams by focusing on strategies related to service, quality and growth,” shared Lisa. “It is important to ensure we are supporting our entire region with primary care services to provide the best patient experience possible.”
Lisa began her nursing career in 2006 and joined Altru Health System in 2010 as a nurse in primary care. In 2013, she was promoted to the supervisor of Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Diabetic Educators, and Psychiatry. Lisa continued to pursue her leadership goals and in 2016 became the manager of Pediatrics and OB/GYN. Lisa has a passion for learning and growing, which has led her to pursue her Masters in Nursing, with an emphasis in Leadership and Management through the University of Mary which she will complete in December 2018.
