Altru Health System Welcomes Laura Goor, FNP, to Pulmonology

Grand Forks, N.D.Laura Goor, FNP, has joined the pulmonology department at Altru Health System. She has been an employee of Altru for over eight years and continues to enjoy making a difference in patients’ lives.

Laura believes it is important to treat her patients how she would hope others would treat her loved ones. “Open communication and empathy are key components to a successful provider/patient relationship,” Goor mentions. “I strive to work together with patients and team members to ensure patients receive high-quality care and work to improve the patient’s quality of life.”

Laura earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner education from the University of North Dakota. When she is not working, she enjoys being outside. She likes to fish, golf, and read. During the colder months, she enjoys attending UND hockey and football games.
