Antranik Mangardich, MD Joins Altru’s Pulmonary Critical Care Team

Grand Forks, N.D. – Antranik "Anto" Mangardich, MD joins the pulmonary critical care team at Altru Health System. He is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease and is board-eligible for critical care medicine. He specializes in asthma, COPD, sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, pleural effusions, flexible bronchoscopy with BAL, endobronchial ultrasound, transbronchial biopsy, and thoracentesis.
"My approach is to form a partnership with my patients as they strive for better health," Dr. Mangardich explains. "I aim to empower my patients by helping them acquire the knowledge to be fully informed and play an active role in the healing process."
Dr. Mangardich earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. He went on to complete his pulmonary/critical care fellowship at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Outside of work, Dr. Mangardich enjoys personal fitness, diet, and nutrition, watching NBA basketball, and reading.
