Kenneth Chidi Asogwa, MD, MPH Joins Altru as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Grand Forks, N.D. – Kenneth Chidi Asogwa, MD, MPH has joined Altru Health System as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. He specializes in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, psychotic disorders, posttraumatic stress disorders (PTSD), substance use disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.

“I am committed to using culturally congruent care to address physical, emotional, and interpersonal needs of my patients,” Dr. Asogwa states.

Dr. Asogwa earned his medical degree from the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria. He went on to complete his obstetrics and gynecology residency from Enugu State University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. He also completed his adult psychiatry residency at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York. Dr. Asogwa then completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship from the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center/Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. In his free time, Dr. Asogwa enjoys playing soccer and table tennis with his children and traveling.
