Landon Karren, Do Joins Altru as an Ophthalmologist

Grand Forks, N.D. – Landon Karren, DO has joined Altru Health System’s comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmology practice. He provides comprehensive eye care and specializes in treating ocular diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

“Vision is a precious gift,” Dr. Karren states, “and I feel honored to be entrusted in caring for and improving this wonderful sense.”

Dr. Karren earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada. He went on to complete his traditional rotating internship and ophthalmology residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. In his free time, Dr. Karren enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys, especially coaching and playing sports, golfing, skiing, hiking, and camping.
