Altru Physician Iqbal Masood, M.D., Named Provider of the Quarter

Altru is pleased to announce Iqbal Masood, M.D., has been awarded the Provider of the Quarter for Quarter 3 of 2022.

Dr. Masood’s thoroughness and thoughtfulness is appreciated and noticed by his patients.

Dr. Masood shares his philosophy of medicine, “The patient comes first. My goal is to keep my patient well informed of the plan, keep them involved at every level of care and formulate a management plan which fits their lifestyle. My philosophy is to keep them on minimum medications, if possible.”

Dr. Masood attended medical school at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, N.J.; his hospital medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio; and his nephrology fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pa. His areas of clinical interest are chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disturbances, dialysis and transplant care.

The Provider of the Quarter recipient is selected after reviewing survey results submitted by patients. Altru started this award in 2021 as a way to recognize outstanding care given by Altru providers.
