Altru’s Kristi Hall-Jiran Receives 'Top 25 Women in Business' Recognition

Grand Forks, N.D. — Kristi Hall-Jiran, chief philanthropy and partnership officer, has been named to Prairie Business’ 'Top 25 Women in Business’ list for 2022. 

Hall-Jiran, a member of Altru’s executive team, leads system-wide philanthropic initiatives through her oversight of Altru Health Foundation, with assets of over $17 million, as well as community engagement and partnership strategies. Most recently, Kristi has added interim oversight of Altru’s marketing, public relations and communications to her executive wingspan. In her tenure, Kristi has increased the Foundation’s annual revenue and total assets, enhanced community partnerships to help build healthier communities, and furthered opportunities for community engagement in Altru’s mission across our service region.  

Prior to joining Altru, Kristi served as president/CEO of the Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC) in Grand Forks, leading CVIC from a six-staff, crisis-focused agency to a 74-staff, multi-program intervention and prevention organization. Her leadership paved the way in bridging cross-collaborative relationships to develop a coordinated community response program, forming a multi-disciplinary partnership to address violence. Using evidence-based and trauma-informed programming, Kristi inspired CVIC toward a bold vision of the Safer Tomorrows Road Map, a plan to ultimately end interpersonal violence in our community in two generations.
