Altru Nurse Practitioner Erin Beck Named Provider of the Quarter

Altru is pleased to announce Erin Beck, a nurse practitioner in dermatology at Altru, has been awarded one of the Providers of the Quarter for Quarter 4 of 2022.

“Erin Beck is outstanding. You know she has had great role models for dermatology and training while practicing in her field. She knows a lot and loves her job. She is a fabulous asset to Altru!” shared one patient.

The dedicated time Erin focuses on her patients is felt by them.

“Erin makes you feel like you are her only patient. I feel very comfortable with her and have a lot of faith in her abilities,” explained another patient.

Erin provides care to the entire age spectrum of patients who are presenting with a wide variety of dermatological diseases and concerns. She strives to spend quality time with her patients, individualizing treatment plans for each of them. Erin is focused on the patient experience and each person’s questions and concerns are addressed.

Another patient wrote, “Erin and her team are the best. She listens and her energy is infectious.”

Erin shared her philosophy of medicine by sharing a quote by William Osler, “The good health care provider treats the disease; the great health care provider treats the person who has the disease.”

Erin, originally from Beulah, N.D., attended the University of North Dakota College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines for her RN (registered nurse) and NP (nurse practitioner) degrees. She is certified as an FNP-C, family nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and a DCNP, a dermatology certified nurse practitioner.

The Provider of the Quarter recipients are selected after reviewing survey results submitted by patients. Altru started this award in 2021 as a way to recognize outstanding care given by Altru providers.
