Altru’s Brittney Blake Receives Prairie Business’ 40 Under 40 Recognition

Grand Forks, N.D. - Brittney Blake, Altru’s Corporate Counsel, has been named to Prairie Business’ ‘40 Under 40’ list for 2024.  

“Brittney exemplifies the values we hold dear at Altru: kindness, excellence, and a genuine care for others,” said Meghan Compton, Chief Clinic Operations Officer at Altru. “Brittney’s determination and her relentless pursuit of excellence are equally and intensely matched with her kind heart, infectious laugh and welcoming personality- which makes knowing Brittney, working with Brittney, and even just having a short exchange with Brittney- a true gift.”

Brittney has been with Altru for the last six years. After attending law school at the University of North Dakota, Brittney began her legal career as counsel for the Community Violence Intervention Center fighting tirelessly for victims and survivors of interpersonal violence in our community.  

In addition to serving as legal counsel, Brittney has taught dance in our community for over 25 years. Her experiences as a dancer gave her exposure to a wide variety of performances, styles of dance, including performing as an entertainer for the Walt Disney World Company. Countless young people in our community have benefitted from Brittney’s kindness, inclusion, and compassion. She has created a safe space for children of all backgrounds and demographics to express themselves, work as a team, and build self-confidence.

Annually, Prairie Business magazine profiles 40 young professionals in the region, all under the age of 40. These inspiring and dedicated professionals come from a wide range of industries and have made significant impacts in their chosen professions and communities.
