Altru Honors Dr. Cordell Davis as Physician of the Quarter

Altru has named Urologist Dr. Cordell Davis, DO, as its Physician of the Quarter in recognition of his compassionate care, dedication to patients, and commitment to going above and beyond for those around him.

Dr. Davis was nominated by colleagues who praised his thoughtful, patient-centered approach and the positive impact he has on both patients and coworkers.

“Dr. Davis leads with kindness, compassion, and humility while always putting patients first,” said Dr. Josh Deere, Altru president. “His dedication to providing exceptional care and supporting those around him reflects the very best of Altru.”

According to the nomination, Dr. Davis takes extra time to follow up with patients to ensure they understand their treatment plans and feel supported throughout their care. Colleagues also noted his willingness to listen, provide guidance, and create an environment where people feel respected, valued, and comfortable being open and honest.

“Dr. Davis creates a safe and encouraging environment for both patients and coworkers,” the nomination stated. “He is dependable, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a hand to those in need.”

The Physician of the Quarter recipients are selected after reviewing nominations and survey results. Altru started this award in 2021 as a way to recognize outstanding care given by Altru providers.
