As measles cases have become present in North Dakota, Altru encourages individuals experiencing symptoms consistent with measles, or those who may have been exposed to someone with measles, to call the Altru Nurse Advice Line at 701.780.6358 before seeking in-person care.
The Nurse Advice Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering expert guidance and support to help patients determine the most appropriate next steps.
Common symptoms of measles include:
Fever
Rash
Cough
Runny nose
Red, watery eyes
Altru requests that anyone experiencing these symptoms contact the nurse advice line prior to visiting any Altru location. This step helps ensure safe, coordinated care and limits potential exposure to others.
