Dr. Jon Raymond Named Altru Physician of the Quarter

Altru is proud to recognize Dr. Jon Raymond, physician at the Altru Professional Center Express Clinic, as its Physician of the Quarter. 

Dr. Raymond was nominated by multiple colleagues who praised his compassion, clinical expertise and unwavering commitment to both patients and fellow team members. With more than 30 years of experience in medicine, including a strong background in emergency care, he is known for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for those around him.

"Dr. Raymond exemplifies the qualities we hope every patient and team member experiences at Altru," said Dr. Josh Deere, Altru president. "He leads with compassion, treats every patient with dignity and respect, and is always willing to step in to support his colleagues."

One nominator shared how Dr. Raymond's willingness to put others first made a lasting impression.
"Dr. Raymond is the epitome of ‘win as a team.’ He is willing to switch shifts when needed or pick up shifts in times of need."

Another nominator highlighted the impact Dr. Raymond has had as both a physician and mentor.

"Dr. Raymond was kind, patient and approachable with me, the staff and every patient he encountered. His compassionate care, calm guidance and willingness to teach have made my training experience incredibly positive. "

Colleagues described him as a steady leader who remains calm under pressure, takes time to ensure every patient feels heard and respected, and willingly shares his knowledge to help others grow.
