Altru CPR Training Center Roster

Altru offers CPR and emergency cardiovascular care training through the Altru Training Center. Classes are held throughout the year and are taught according to current American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Training Options

  • Basic Life Support (BLS): CPR and basic life support skills for health care professionals and others who may need to respond to a cardiac or respiratory emergency.
  • Heartsaver: CPR, AED and first aid training for people who are not health care professionals but may need to respond to an emergency.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Advanced skills for health care professionals responding to cardiac arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Advanced emergency care skills for health care professionals responding to critically ill or injured infants and children.
  • Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS): Training focused on recognizing and stabilizing children who are experiencing or at risk for a medical emergency.
