Altru Health System is proud to provide a variety of career exploration opportunities to students in our community. Each year, Altru offers more than 10,000 clinical hours to students in advance practice programs, provides clinical placement to more than 400 undergraduate students, and welcomes more than 300 volunteers in a variety of healthcare settings.
Career Observations are hands-off experiences that allow participants to explore healthcare, both in clinical and non-clinical settings. Observation participants will spend their experience with a Career Observation guide. These guides are experts in their fields and will help the participant gain first-hand knowledge of the day-to-day in that career.
