Altru’s Breast Center provides comprehensive breast health services including advanced technology, education and support. The Center staffs a team of professionals who perform and interpret breast imaging studies, as well as meet with patients in a clinical setting.
Altru’s Breast Center offers and coordinates a broad spectrum of services including:
- Breast MRI
- Breast ultrasound
- Cyst aspiration
- Clinical breast examinations
- Sentinel lymph node mapping
- Referral for risk assessment
- Breast cancer awareness and education
- Stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI-guided biopsy
- Referral for surgical consultation as well as oncology consultation
- Digital mammography (screening as well as diagnostic mammograms) and 3D mammography
The Breast Center is located in the Altru Professional Center.
