Express E-Visits allow you to initiate an appointment with a family medicine provider through your MyChart patient portal from the comfort of your home. To begin an E-Visit, log in to your patient portal via your smartphone, tablet or computer, and fill out a questionnaire about your symptoms. Then, use our secure messaging system to discuss your symptoms with a provider, who can recommend treatment, order prescriptions to your pharmacy or, if necessary, request an in-person visit.
Concerns we commonly treat through E-Visits include but are not limited to:
- Allergies
- Cough or sore throat
- Diarrhea
- Influenza
- Pink eye
- Sinus issues
- Skin concerns, such as burns, insect bites and rashes
E-Visit Hours:
You can initiate an E-Visit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. An Altru E-Visit provider will respond to your request within 24 hours.
