Clinic
All residents and faculty provide care in the outpatient setting in one centralized clinic located approximately one mile north of Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Highlights of the clinic include:
- Dedicated and experienced nursing, registration and support staff
- 30 Exam Rooms
- Pharmacy
- Lab and X-Ray
- Procedure Room and Casting Room
- State-of-the-art Ultrasound Lab
- Individual workspace for each resident, equipped with computer, phone and accessible printer
- Conference Room with multimedia equipment for noon didactics and resident education
Hospital
As an unopposed residency, our residents have the privilege of working at one hospital located in central Grand Forks for training in inpatient medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics and more. Altru Health System opened a brand new hospital in January 2025. The new hospital features:
- 226 licensed beds across 7 floors
- First affiliate member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network
- Altru Eatery, 24/7 vending machines and the Park Café
- Featured artwork from local artists and and abundance of windows and natural light throughout the building, including the resident workspace
